Mumble, Grumble

I have a guest visiting from home for several days, so I'm not on as much right now. It's so nice to have a long time friend here with me.
mumble, grumble
mumble .. grumble ..
I went to B&N the other evening, to purchase a book [politics], because I'm so upset over this current economic condition, and what's causing it .. and after finding it, began to wander around, and came to the next year calendar section. Gah! I was amazed .. for right at $19.00 one could purchase not only a beautiful calendar, but one that came with matching note cards as well. I stood there and shook my head .. and mumbled and grumbled .. the same as I did last Christmas .. when searching for some coffee cups to use as gifts. I'd found both coffee cups and calendars here on dA that I really wanted to purchase .. but the price difference on what I could get elsewhere made the ones on dA cost prohibitive.
How is it that other places can print things so much more cost friendly?I was still mumbing and grumbling this morning before beginning my day of work/work .. and doing the final touch ups on the piece I was ready to post .. and it dawned on me! There's a way to earn additional income for me. I've always told people that I'm a gypsy at heart .. why not become one? I could finish my cards, trade my house off for a motor coach .. park in some location which has electricity and water, dress in wonderfully fun clothing .. complete with wild jewelry .. and hang out a shingle .. ya think this would work? I could trade my car off for a bike, and then I would have not only my fuel expense solved .. but could afford to purchase the artwork on dA! What a wonderful thought this is .. [if only I were braver] ...
